DeenDoor (“we”, “us”) provides an Islamic companion through an iPhone app, a Telegram bot, and this website at deendoor.ai. This policy explains what we collect and why. The site itself does not use advertising cookies or trackers.

Who we are

What we collect

• Account. Email and password hash, Google account identifiers if you sign in with Google, and/or Telegram user id and username if you use the bot or Telegram login.
• Profile. Preferred language (English, Arabic, or Russian) and similar settings.
• Prayer. If you enable salah reminders, we store coordinates or city data and reminder preferences so we can compute times and send alerts.
• Chat. Messages you send to the assistant and the replies we return, so history and weekly quota can work across devices.
• Subscription. Plan status, expiry, and payment-provider references (for example an App Store transaction id). We do not store full card numbers.
• Technical logs. Standard server logs (time, path, error codes) used to keep the service reliable and secure.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not run third-party advertising on this landing page.
• We do not ask for your Telegram password. Login uses a one-time code we send in the bot.

Why we process data

To create and secure your account, deliver Quran/hadith/audio, calculate prayer times, send reminders you asked for, run the AI assistant and its weekly limit, process subscriptions, and fix outages. Legal bases typically include performing the contract you request (providing the product) and our legitimate interest in operating a secure service. Where a law requires consent (for example precise location), we rely on the permission you grant in the app or bot.

Processors

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email or Google sign-in, Apple for in-app purchases, Telegram for bot delivery, and an AI provider to generate Islamic answers). They process data only to provide those services to us.

Retention

We keep account and history while your account exists. You may ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by emailing hello@deendoor.com, subject to records we must keep for security, accounting, or law (for example a payment transaction id).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. Write to hello@deendoor.com. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, you can also revoke access in those accounts.

Children

DeenDoor is not directed at children under 13 (or the digital-consent age in your country). Do not create an account for a child below that age.

International transfers

Servers and processors may be located outside your country. We take steps appropriate to the product’s size to keep data secure in transit (HTTPS) and at rest on our hosts.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and, when required, notify you in the app or by email.
